The dataset comprises measured PV power generation data and corresponding on-site weather data gathered from 60 grid-connected rooftop PV stations in Hong Kong over a three-year period (2021-2023). The PV power generation data was collected at 5-minute intervals at the inverter-level.

How many data gathered from two solar power plants in India?

This data consists of 4 CSV files of information gathered from two solar power plants in India over a 34 day period. Each plant has a pair of datasets related to their respective power generation and sensor reading data.

How do inverters produce electricity?

Power generation is recorded at the inverter level, meaning that each individual inverter is assigned a unique source key and reports its own individual data. Inverters receive the electric current produced by flowing electrons (Direct Current). The inverter then converts DC to Alternating Current (AC), which is distributed as electricity.
