What are the different types of solar panels?

There are three types of solar panel systems: grid-tied (on-grid), off-grid, and hybrid solar systems. What is the difference between off-grid and hybrid solar systems?

Off-grid systems, on the other hand, operate independently of the grid and rely on a battery bank for power. Are grid-tied solar panels better than net metering?

Should I choose a hybrid or on-grid Solar System?
