How does a dual axis solar tracking system work?

Sidek et al. introduced an automated open-loop dual-axis solar tracking system that uses a Microcontroller Unit (MCU), GPS, and an encoder to improve positioning accuracy. Unlike conventional open-loop trackers, this system automatically adjusts its position based on the sun path trajectory algorithm, achieving an accuracy of ±0.5°.
